Hey y’all! I hope you’re day has been full of sunshine. It’s been a beautiful week in Texas so far.
Earlier this week I posted about our little Hulk flower pots. If you didn’t get a chance to check that post out, click here.
Today’s post is about how I extended this activity. I decided that I wanted to teach the boys about making observations, as well as, how to record what they see. That’s when I decided to make this little printable.
Every few days the boys will head outside to check on their little flowers. They will observe the weather, temperature, and if their is any change with their flowers. There is also a care checklist. Bentley needs work on his writing, which is why the date and day of the week boxes were left blank. I will fill them out for JJ before hand.
I also found this helpful lesson on Teachers Pay Teachers by Lovely Commotion to extended it even further. It has a lot of fun little activities that revolve around plants. I’ve used her lessons before and have loved them.
That’s it! This is a simple educational activity that requires very little prep. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to get updates on our flowers.
